Nitish Peters is Head of Finance and Accounting at WADR Law, where he leads the firm’s finance and accounting operations, reporting, and infrastructure to support disciplined growth, transparency, and institutional-grade financial management.
He brings over a decade of experience professionalizing finance functions across founder-led, private-equity-backed, sponsor-backed, and high-growth organizations. His work focuses on stabilizing and strengthening core finance and accounting processes — including the close, reporting, internal controls, cash management, and forecasting — enabling firm leadership to operate with predictability, financial integrity, and confidence in decision-making.
Nitish’s background spans accounting, controllership, corporate development, and strategic FP&A, with particular expertise in multi-entity environments, revenue recognition, audit readiness, and capital planning. He has led initiatives ranging from building modern financial infrastructure and analytics to supporting financings, governance, and complex transactions across professional services, education, industrial, and technology-enabled businesses.
He holds an MBA from the Owen School at Vanderbilt University, a Bachelors from the Rotman School at the University of Toronto, and is also a Certified Management Accountant. At WADR, he works closely with firm leadership to ensure the financial foundation supports long-term growth, risk management, and stewardship of both client and firm capital.
